RJ, I keep my highest-end stuff in individual cedar boxes. Years ago Nordstrom included these boxes with their house brand cashmere, and I guess my purchase history with the store was good for something: I asked for 100 extra boxes and they gave them to me at no cost.Originally Posted by AThingForCashmere

A couple years ago Harrods was selling online an incredibly lush Ballantyne 6-ply cashmere cardigan... but at 1300 quid I couldn't justify it. I think that would have been my ideal. Your friend Alex Kabbaz has a gorgeous Scott & Charters shawl-collar cashmere cardigan for sale that looks like the cat's whiskers, so to speak.

Love it. Still, I'm not sure that it is as good as the old stuff...but, the really good cashmere from the past tends to be nicer after one washing, so time will tell.
