They are Mr. Olive straight leg raws in size 29. What don't you like about them? Admittedly they are kind of plain and stiff looking without any wear yet on them, but is this not to be expected of relatively unworn raw denim? I had some KMW 1980's in size 29 (8.0" hem) but they were so ridiculously roomy in the hips, thighs, and bottom leg width that they looked awful on me-- so I got rid of them. The Mr. Olive jeans are far tighter fitting in these areas than most other slim straight leg denim I've tried. I often wear skinnier (6.2" hem) denim lately, but I've always hated how such skinny legs look when contrasted against a bulkier looking sweater. So I thought I'd try pairing these Mr. Olive straight leg raws (7.5" hem) I've had in my closet with the sweater.

i had a pair of slim black jeans from gap that were kinda streaky like yours.

the fit looks great. wasn't meant as a criticism.

Cole Haan $106, 65% off. They are so comfortable, great quality for the price, with Nike Air.

No offense taken. Hey, criticism is always fine with me as long as people aren't mean spirited about it and explain why. Just saying "it sucks" isn't particularly helpful. But what you noticed is accurate with respect to the streaks. All Mr. Olive firm raw denim I've seen has a vertical grain to it. It is not nearly as flat of texture as a new pair of KMW denim. I'm still not sure what I think of the streaks, but I do like the tight fit and low rise of the Mr. Olive denim a lot better than other brands I've tried: KMW, Levi, Julius, Geller, Nudie, and W+H.

It is obviously designed to be be a cold weather jacket, but I have not yet had an opportunity to try it in extremely cold weather. So far the coldest I've done is 38F with rain and 20 mph wind-- which is very miserable conditions due to the windchill. I was only wearing a short sleeve t-shirt underneath and I did not get cold. Comparing the relative warmness to other coats I own, I would guess you could go down to 20F for sure (and possibly 10F) if you wear a heavy sweater or multiple layers underneath. I live on the coast so the coldest it ever gets here is usually around 20F and even that is rare. pm me in a month and I might be able to provide a better answer. It is obviously not an arctic weather coat though since the sleeves are removable and there are small holes in the armpits where the zipper comes together.

Oh and because they have Nike Air for comfort is soooooooo bad. I am sorry, I have to destroy my feet at the age of 17 to look decent. I am sorry I am not ruining my feet anymore than they already have been by those overpriced pieces of **** you call Ferregamo. I am 17 and already dress 3x my age and you all still keep complaining. I am already stopped wearing jeans because this forum felt it was way to casual for PUBLIC SCHOOL.
