Are A.P.C jeans the best value for their price range (around $150)?

PC indigo jeans has a reddish dull color to them, pretty ugly IMO.

Actually a bit of brown. Faded a bit yellow rather than white. Hard to explain. Anyway it is definitely lighter than other raw denim I've had. He might like that, though.

APC's have a purplish tint, hard to explain, but yeah, they do fade yellowish.

Apc are amazing because of the way they stretch to fit you perfectly. I'd say they are, at very least, worth the money. That said I recently bought some kmws in b+s for $135 and they are way better than my apcs.

I have 3sixteen and APC, and while I do enjoy my 3sixteen, I can't see myself buying another pair after (something about the fit...). APCs though, if I ever tire of raw denim, I would just buy those for the rest of my life. I own a few APC jeans that are non raw that fit well too.

ive tried nudies, pure blue japans and apc and honestly i like the way my apc's fit and feel the most!

i have the rescues by the way, if i could change anything i would have sized down one more size but they fit well with a belt.

For $150...

Nudies- Decent stuffs. Nothing really special. you could get them fairly less than $150 during sales..less than $100 if u lurk around the B&S section.

Naked & Famous- Good stuff for their price range. Best bet for that price you are looking at.

A.P.C- Never tried them personally. Highly regarded by some here for their fit and quality for their reasonably priced range. Some might disagree.

I suggest a pair of KMWs(Not the China made ones) over any of the above brands.

Gd luck in getting one.

What is value to you???

Each jean offers something different.

APC uses japanese selvage denim.
N&F uses japanese selvage denim.

Does selvage matter to you?

APC is made in Tunisia or Macau.
N&F is made in Canada.

The hard wear on both are about the same.

They fade differently.

They fit differently.

Are you looking for a brand new jean or used jean?

Value is what you make of it. Try a few pair on and decide that way. Don't just go with one and assume its the best because everyone says so.
That's my advice.

Best,
mauro

PS- I do sell both brands.
