Panerai at the office?

I understand that their offerings often fall under the "casual" category, but are Panerais suitable for office/work wear (i.e., with suit)?

I'm getting a Luminor 114 (I know, white dial), but would this look out of place at a Wall St. summer internship? Do people even care?

Panerai would look awesome anywhere depending on what strap you're wearing. You can dress them up or you can dress them down. The bracelet really looks classy especially on the white faced watches.

You're rocking a Luminor and you're an intern?

Jeez, I'm clearly in the wrong industry...

Odds are nobody will notice.

If someone does, most likely they'll say "nice watch".

There's a small chance that someone will notice it and wonder why an intern is wearing a $5,000 watch.

I'm in 3rd year residency, just be careful during your 3rd and 4th year rotations, interviews, and residency...Attendings and other residents notice everything. I have an Overseas, and I wear my Tag when I am around superiors.

+1, There is a small possibility one of your superiors will notice it and not like it. Best of luck on Wall Street though, hopefully it starts to get better there.

unless you had diamonds stuck around it, or you had it gold plated they're fine.

I wore a Rolex as a med student.

I wear a Panerai 232 as a resident.

Some people remark about my large watch but no one has ever mentioned $$$.

It'll be fine.

On wall street a lot of guys in your office will probably know what a panerei is. I wouldn't rock it for the first few weeks if not longer. You don't want to be wearing nicer **** than the actual employees.
