Yeah, you need to define 'damage' and add a 'keep wearing them' option. If it is relatively minor I might be a little annoyed at first but I keep wearing the item.
Okay then. But if the minor damage can be repaired, won't you have it fixed? Some damage, such as tearing, is likely to increase if you ignore it.

You can still keep stuff to laze around the house. I have stuff that has gone from regular wear to lounging around wear to working in the mud in the garden wear.
I laze around in pajamas or wearing my regular stuff (no jacket or shoes though). But yeah clothes aren't gone once they get some small damage, I think they look better that way.
I thinks the sames think.
