^^^ Those look pretty good--but I think they'd look even better with a lapped shoulder seam. I think it goes hand-in-hand with a shirt-set sleeve.

It looks similar to the Thornproof I have, but the red flecks look a little too peachy.

What is # of yours? Can you post a pic of it? I need brown and blue donegals.
The long seam running perpendicular to the armhole, up to the collar, has an open seam instead of being lapped. When the seam is lapped, the underlying seam allowances are folded over to one side and than sewn to the exterior-showing cloth. Aesthetically, the result is that one side of the seam looks higher compared to the other.
