I have a question. I tried out some Wolverine 6" boots at Sears, and found that, while I'm typically an 11.5EE in most shoes, I could easily fit in a 10D in the Wolverines. Does the heritage line match the work boots in width? Should I take the D in the 1000 Mile, or the EEE?

and how do we size these? half size down from dress shoe?

i dont think there is enough experience here with the new 1000 mile boots yet to be able to give you a true comparison against the GT. That said, the GT's are absolutely awesome.

I said it before. Try on a Wolverine workboot, preferably an 8 inch and order that size. As far as the deal is concerned it has remained the same and hasn't changed. When calling the store make sure you talk to Dave. This is his baby.

Seeing as how the heritage line is available only in D and EEE, and the workboots in C, D, and E, I have reason to believe a D width in one might not be the same as the D width in the other, which is why I asked.

just a quick question again ... back a few threads you guys stated to try on a 6 inch but recently you guys say 8 inch. does it matter? or will one represent the 1000 mile boot better

Can you comment on the quality and constructions? Is the boot on par with anything you've seen before? Thanks.

Ur supposed to size down a half size from dress shoes for db. If u were 9 in dress shoes like me, then 8.5 in db. Which is same for wolverines. Just go sears and try in several boots

I just picked up a pair of these at Scoop. They're pretty sweet. For reference, I got a size 10, which is what I wear in chucks, too. There are a bunch of pictures up on A Continuous Lean right now, by the way.
