when ppl get stuff in, can you post fit pics and comment on fabrics and sizing? the RG site needs measurements in my opinion. They would increase their business by alot of they do.

I picked up the Overdyed plaid bd shirt in black and the Sueded fleece zip hoodie the black/heather grey.
I really like both pieces.. the plaid bd shirt i would pick up in another color on sale. The material isn't very thick but personally i feel the cut is great.
I think we all know what the hoodie quality is. Other than these 2 pieces i have to say i wasn't overly impressed with the collection i saw at Nomad, which was almost everything Roden have posted. The cashmere blend v-neck and crew neck sweaters fit great but the price is just too much for what they are. The flannel oxford shirts are also nice but again not pulling the trigger at that price. Didn't notice any denim (not in the market). The basic pieces (henley, t shirts etc) also don't seem worth the price to me, not taking anything away from their quality but they do appear thinner than the henleys offered for s/s 11 which seems odd. Id say quality of the basics was very similar to the Alternative Apparel items i've also seen at Nomad.

Long story short only a couple pieces id pay full retail for, many i would grab on sale. Now i will wait to see what the Outerwear is like.

I should mention I am 38 inch chest and got both in size M.

I picked up two pairs of jeans and the wine high neck from RG. I havent gotten a shipping confirmation yet, but it usually arrives pretty quick since im in Canada. Ill put up some measurements on the jeans if they havent been posted by that time.

Does anyone know if there will be a raw denim model?

lolwut. i'm no w+h fanboy, but comparing them to an urban outfitters brand where stuff falls apart easily (that's what alt app is, right?) is pretty funny

A is a decent brand and I've never had any QC issues with the pieces I own, but comparing it to W+H is a stretch.

That said, I handled the jersey pieces, and while they are nice I don't think they're worth the price of admission. They are a lot thicker than they look in the Roden pics, which is unfortunate. The sleeves are also super tight from the elbow down. Easy pass for me (regrettably, because I love that wine color).

I don't know man, I've got some AA pieces and they're still fine although pilly (because of the fabric). Whereas I have four static long sleeves and there's a big hole that needs repair at one of the stitches on the tag of my W+H and one of the label tags is sewn upside down ala WvG. :embar:

i have a ton of henley's- oldest being from 2009 and so far no issues what so ever.

have a Olive Slub Henley from last season that I lived in Spring and most of Summer and the color has faded but it's held up very well otherwise.

can't speak on the new fabrics but sounds like most are disappointed. shame cause that Wine color is great.

ah well, i guess they can't all be winners. well, quality aside, tbh i've found the last few seasons pretty staid and not really appealing. i think this season w/ the new designer is a step in the right direction, even though i still find most of it pretty meh. i definitely prefer the loss of some silly details, like that stupid cross stitch thing on the crewnecks - really hate that detail. i definitely like the heavy jersey pieces. considering going back to cop blazer...

It's only my opinion. I can only tell you what I thought seeing them in person in a store that carries alternative apparel. I didn't say not to buy overpriced basics. I would just recommend getting them on sale. I am also not a "fan boy" and like quality for my money.

I'm a 30" waist and have a pair of wnh chinos in 29 that are a tad big so I ordered two pairs in 28. Those measurements scare me, Hope they fit :/
