The original version of Nike Free had design flaw in that the heel fabric was not strong enough to withstand normal wear. Does anyone know if they providing a refund?

Your best bet would be to call nike dirtectly, or email them. I doubt anyone here would know.

Here's what I don't get. These shoes are barefoot training shoes, not everyday wear shoes, yet I see so many people out and about with them on (with socks). The reason they're ripping is not because of material choice or some defect, but because people are wearing them in a manner that they weren't designed for. If worn properly, there should be no problems with the shoes.

I highly doubt they'll provide a refund.
