Who wears their BDs like this ?

I can agree with that but does it not look perfectly fine on PG and could it not look perfectly fine on someone else? Given that PG's shirt isn't exactly a PRL oxford. However, I'm aware that a look like this would be completely out of line in a business situation.

It's not that he's the ultimate arbiter or that he does everything right. It's that he has concoted a look that, in total, really, really works for him. Might not work for everyone.

As for the look in these PRL ads - awful.

Very vintage - I have a friend who rocks this look with some old 20's and 30's era pins and ties - I think it works with modern apparel too like in the pic - cool find!

Probably not, but I agree with you.

In my 20's, as a gag, I actually showed up at work with a noose tie. It did not go over well, and that was back in the 1980's when people had a sense of humour.
