1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks, Manton. From a distance the tie appears solid grey (with a very subtle hint of blue), which I really like. Up-close there is a bit more visual interest, but I can certainly see what you're saying. Truth be told I generally pair this tie with a solid (light blue) shirt when wearing pin or chalk stripe suits. Perhaps my next purchase will be a solid mid-grey cashmere tie. Thanks again for the critique :slayer:

Winter skies, so photos are typically poor. Suit is dark grey flannel.

The first pic where the tie looks grey it looks a lot better. Up close it looks purple, which I don't particularly care for.

It's grey. No purple in sight. You know the tie I'm sure. Cappelli

Is there a reason why you guys post here and not in the WAYWRN thread? Any difference between them?

I just found out about this one, and realized I missed so many interesting fits.

It's 50/50 cash/wool by Drakes. I bought it from Will at ASW last winter. It's actually two colors, navy and grey, woven together.

the only thing I regret stitch is that your fumbling with the button (signature pose I know), but we cannot (completely) see the beauty of the lapel roll
