Personally, I don't really care for either one. They're both just very busy.

Either way, I'll add this. Please be wary of buying a potentially "gray" market watch (which either of these may be). I bought a Seiko automatic from seller via Amazon and it turned out to be a Japanese model. It runs fine, but Seiko USA won't honor the Japanese warranty (which is fair on their part).

Bear in mind option one has a hardlex (chemically hardened mineral glas) crystal whereas the Premier should have synthetic sapphire, which is more scratch resistant.

Having said that, I would prefer option one aesthetically speaking. There are nicer Premier models out there than option two IMHO (the Kinetic Perpetual springs to mind) though they will be pricier.

From the first one:
Warranty Offer: All Seiko watches purchased Direct from Amazon.com are covered by a three-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Please see your Seiko warranty booklet and claim form located inside the watch box for full details. Include unaltered proof of purchase with all claim submissions. Shop the Seiko store at Amazon.com
Looks like Amazon comes with warranty if bought directly from Amazon, and probably no warranty if bought from a 3rd party seller on Amazon.

Neither rocks my boat. I'm more a fan of mechanicals than Quartz chronographs.

Wearing my orange monster with watchadoo bracelet strap right now, but that's definitely a different aesthetic than the ones the OP has posted.

I'll third that. That was somewhat my thought when I asked the OP about needing a chrono. I would personally not buy a quartz watch at all, just because I like the idea of autos, but further to that, there are better options for a watch that can be worn with a suit. I wouldn't say the monster is one of them though, mind you.

I have the Black face Monster on the steel bracelet. works good with a suit IMO.

The orange face I think is tougher to work with a suit. again IMO...
