Where to buy Ralph Lauren near Seattle?

I'm in Vancouver right now and I want to buy a RL cableknit cashmere sweater but they are like $450 at Holt's. There is no way I'm paying that much. I know that I can get one for a lot cheaper with a quick drive across the border.

Any recommendations on a store that has good selection? I'm hoping there will be a store that carries more colors than they show on the website. Holt's had tons of colors, they must be from different seasons as well.

Thanks

Nordstrom downtown. There is also a Rugby store and University Village.

Where do they keep the RL selection at the downtown location? I've never seen it in there.

Rugby and some RLPL items occasionally show up at the Nordstrom Rack.

25% sale on nearly everything at Holt's today plus there will be further markdowns next week for the winter sale... (if you can't find it otherwise)

The outlet store proncis mentioned might be worth checking out. Most of it is barely-discounted crap, but I've seen some significantly discounted RRL, RL black label, and RLPL stuff there a few times, too.

You can also order online and ship to Point Roberts. I did that during the Private sale, had items going to The Letter Carrier in Point Roberts. They charge $2.25 to receive a package for you.

You're right, it is at Macy's. First floor, near the Kors, Hilfiger, Nautica stuff. By the escalator.

I don't think Macy's carries the cashmere cableknits. It is kind of strange that there isn't a Polo store anywhere downtown, but I can't think of anywhere that would carry those. Mail ordering one as mentioned above would probably be the best deal anyway.

Unfortunately I'm stuck in Kelowna with my family until after Christmas. I was at Holts on Tuesday but none of the RL stuff was marked down. I must have just missed it by a day or two.

Is sizing pretty consistant among sweaters? I have a friend in Washington that drives up all the time. I guess I'll just try them on at Holt's then buy them online. I'm not quite sure if I need a medium or small. With RL, I seem to vary depending on what I'm buying.

I did not mean to add PL. The Rack in downtown Seattle currently has stuff from the Rugby line, and the blue label line. What's weird is that RL's site says that Nordstrom carries them in their main store - I guess I'll just ask next time I'm in.

oh man you got me all excited, haha. i also don't remember seeing the rugby stuff at nordstrom, or at least not at the bellevue one where i work (which sells more and has more selection than the seattle flagship store, oddly enough).

I would wait for the now or never sale (end of january), considering no one touches the RL/RLPL stuff at holt at full price (I'm basing this off the past two seasons they've carried it, perhaps things have changed..).

In august I picked up a couple of rlpl sweaters at ~$230 (down from $725, iirc..anyway, it was 60% off+ 20% off of that (which they always do on the final weekend, which is about a month after the sale starts). I would expect the sweaters to be marked down to atleast 40% off...

One more question. Would I be better off shopping at Holt's or going to Seattle and then going to Saks or Nordstrom? From what I understand, Saks and Nordstrom carry the same type of stuff that Holt's does. Clothes seem to be a lot cheaper in the states so I'm thinking that I could save myself quite a bit with just a short drive.
