I'm in search of a box to protect a high-quality hat from light and dust when it's sitting in the closet not being worn (which is most of the time). Most of the hat boxes I see online are too small (the hat spans 12"), come in sets (I only need one), or are decorative in purpose, with flowers and bows.
I've checked a few hat stores; it seems that if they have anything at all, all they sell is these huge hard plastic things for cowboy hats.
Anybody have any recommendations where I could acquire something plain, well-constructed, and of a suitable size? Maybe I'm too picky, but Amazon and Google have failed me thus far.
