The Sunspel pique is the closest analogue to Lacoste. About the same sort of fabric, but you may have a preference.

Their other models are either flat-knit (the Sea Island ones) or more textured (knit).

With summer approaching, I'm looking to stock up on some new polos. Recently, I've been a Lacoste fan. I like the feel of the fabric, and they have sizes that fit me (6"0", 235#). However, I thought I would see what else is out there. I used to wear Brooks Brothers too, but the new performance fabric is garbage. Drake's are very nice, but expensive. Spier & Mackay's are a little snug. Ralph Lauren's sizes and fits don't quite work for my body.

What brands are you guys wearing? Anything else worth looking into?
I've always gone for Barkers Polo shirts (https://www.barkersonline.co.nz/shirts/shirts/polo-shirts) they are good quality and have a fresh range each year.

I am looking for polo shirts with Shirt necks (as I don't like the current trend of fluffy necks).
Cucinelli has some but I can't find much else? Any suggestions?
