All seen for the 3rd or 4th time, which I think is where I begin to appreciate his brilliant movies.

It take 3 or 4 viewings to appreciate them? Jesus, that sounds more like Stockholm Syndrome than brilliant moviemaking.

I miss Siskel and Ebert. Used to watch their show every sunday.

Me too. Two guys passionately discussing a subject they love without zany graphics, twitter feeds, or screaming.

S&E on Saving Private Ryan.

almost embarrassed to admit this....me and my wife watched 21 Jump Street saturday night. Cheesy as ****, but i laughed a ton. Mindless humor, but worth killing some time on.

an older movie, but in case you haven't seen it how about "out of the blue" with hopper and linda manz?

Thanks, saved in Netflix.

Sidenote, has anyone noticed that nearly all movies on Netflix are rated 3 stars? Or maybe its just me.

So I watched U.S. SEALs on Saturday. Not sure it had a plot. It was terrible. Loved it.

Saw part of I Love You, Man. The bits I saw were really funny. Could see how it wouldn't be funny for an entire movie...

"I named him Anwar Sedat."
"The former Egyptian president? Why, because you like his policies?"
"NO! Because they look exactly alike!"

Probably because so many people watch them that they just average out after a while. These days, there aren't going to be many movies that everybody likes.

That scene is so brilliant. Everything about it is amazing, it gets better every time.

Stitches, don't watch this yet, but go see this movie right away. Also Hard Eight is really good.

"SHE SHOULD BE WITH ME!"
The thai boy throwing firecrackers, it's just great stuff.

Idiots have votes that count as much as smart peoples'. Some 13 year old kid watches Midnight Cowboy and gives it one star because there are no action scenes, or somebody gets all offended because of the gay stuff and gives it one star because it's sinful.

21 Jump Street gets my vote for "best movie version of a bad tv show". I spent about three econds thinking about it, so there may be some better contenders out there...what say you all?
