A big disabled guy was trying to climb the steps outside my office building with his wife helping him. He fell and his wife couldn't lift him up. I happened to pass by just when he fell. I grabbed him and heaved him back up to his feet and helped him climb the stairs.

I think that was pretty manly.

Got my 67 Plymouth Satellite running again after 2 years of sitting. I took out the plugs and poured oil into the cylinders to lube up the rings yesterday and today with lots of ether got it running.

I'm also going to lug about 200lbs worth of boxes down the steps, across the parking lot, and into the dumpster.

Last week - dove into the river beside my new cabin and broke up a log jam of about 40 logs. Sent half down river and pulled the other half ashore, dug a trench and laid them alongside the driveway as a border.

Today - tried to fix a leaking bathroom faucet and couldn't figure out how to get the damn valve out. (Why is it that everything in my house never matches up to the pictures in a home fixit book.) Took a hammer to it. Bad idea.

This Saturday - shopping for a new sink.
