What kind of socks do you wear with leather boots? Wolverine 1000 or Indy boots, etc.

I was wondering what type of socks do you guys wear with leather boots such as indy boot or wolverine 1000 miles? Any suggestion of good brands or type of sock? If you have a link that would be appreciate. Thanks.

I usually wear cotton or wool socks. When I wear casual clothes with some kind of boot/sneaker I usually wear socks I get from Urban Outfitters. They are cheap, look good, and last long enough for what you pay for them.

They are not cheap, but they are pretty cool, and super comfortable and durable. In the summer, I barely ever wear socks at all, though.

Boot socks for casual boots like the Wolverine 1000 mile or anything Alden makes on the truebalance last like the indy. I prefer extra cushion over the calf Darn Tough socks. There are a lot of other places that make good boot socks but they should have some wool or other natural fiber.

Why are Chup socks so hard to find? Or maybe they aren't but I have been looking in all the wrong places. Even if I could easily find them, the $35 price tag would still have me a bit standoffish but the fact that they cost $35 and I can't seem to find anyone who sells them makes it pretty easy to not worry about much. I know J. Crew carries some of them but I've been to two of their stores in the last month or so and and both stores seemed to have a pair or two of Chup socks that were the rejects that no one else wanted.
