Connery's T&A grenadine grosso for the win.

Do you mean the windsor knot? I'd have liked it better if they didn't screw that part up so blatantly in the first movie. Pierce Brosnan is like what Bond would have transitioned to in the 90s - 1960s Bond with contemporary suits and very dark ties, 1990s-2000s Bond with power-type suits and pattern coordination:

But none of this matters if they could never get their ties delivered. :rimshot:

I assume you're waiting on the T&A reissues of the Brosnan ties?

Yes, I think they did a great job. This one in particular:

Brosnan's style mirrors my own taste in ties pretty well, I think. I have one or two solid-but-textured weaves as well, but I prefer a pattern of some kind.

I love the blatant watch product placement shots in the two Brosnan stills.

Pretty hard to hide the shape of a Cartier tank. Some trivia: Bond actually wore short-sleeved shirts, so imagine the Omega with bare arms.

Yes, you can make your own style choices in the absence of #manswear influencers. The horror!

Absolutely ! Especially if one has a long family tradition. When he came of age,
my great-grandfather introduced my grandfather to his tailor in the shtetl .

Style arises ex homine, rather than from someone else.

Which is why I often administer the whippy switch or withering glare upon recalcitrant bulters when they are excessively tardy in producing a style which I may use that day.

I am not entirely sure at what point we went from supply chain problems and shipment delays to politics. Either way, I love you all.

Talks for three minutes straight about how a jacket collar should not lift off the back.

Own collar lifts off the back. :bored:
