Hello,

I own a Husky of Tostock coat. It is insulated with a tweed outer layer. It is in perfect condition.
I can't seem to find anything about the coat on the actual item (it has a hand written SER No.) or on the internet.

The company doesn't seem to be operating any longer but I was wondering if anybody would know the value of such an item? Or what they used to sell for in the shops?

I feel as if this could be a valuable item but then again maybe not. Also, I might be interested in selling it as they seem quite rare and its a bit large on me.

Any help would be appreciated!

Kind Regards,

e.

Thank you and yes I understand.

I just believe the item is of high quality and seems to have a sporting heritage much like Barbour. Also, it was a popular brand amongst Sloan Rangers and I don't believe they would settle for cheaply manufactured products!

Just curious...

Hello!
Boy this post is old but so is Husky.
I, too, have a Husky coat. It is old & well worn. I have lived and LOVED this coat more than any item worn EVER! I paid about $100 for it IN ITALY when I purchased it. Since, they have gone (as u know) out of business. I found your thread looking to buy my favorite item on EBay, Etsy, or other for sale.
To answer your question about value. For the past number (5+) of years I have found that these coats (used or new) vary in price. I’ve seen them for as little as $25 -$200 but no more and rarely the later. They are not comparable to high end quilted jackets (they never were) ie. Burberry, etc...From my research, being rare has not increased their value unless one, like myself, is still obsessed with this coat.
