i only have one ysl rg suit but it's completely canvassed, not fused

and the US$650 price isn't all that bad considering they retail in ysl boutiques in the $2,800 - $3,250 range

Is that canvassed piece from a specific "line" of YSL. All of the things I saw at their Chicago boutique were fused.

it says merely "yves saint laurent rive gauche" and has a big YSL logo embroidered on the inside of the coat

i was also under the impression that ysl only had the one line

... i guess what i meant was the gucci group/ppr ownership is ysl rg and that is the only line

... i believe that the pour homme is a licence agreement with someone which has not yet expired but which i'm sure gucci/ppr would love to see die - i don't ever recall seeing pour homme in any ysl boutiques

That is very strange. I was so enthusiastic when I saw the shoulders on the fall YSL 2004 model, and when I went to see their suits for myself in Chicago, the chestpieces were fused. Hunh?
