Those would be far more appealing with either the elastic or the harness but not both.

Cool. I won't get them then. Now that I think about it, they don't really go with my style. I guess I just like the toe of these boots.

Do all Frye's have the imprinted logo? Is there any way to get rid of it?

check out the Frye Brando Engineer if you want a similar boot at great quality that looks 10x better. I'm wearing mine now with a pair of jeans. They can dress up or down. Just be ready for the break-in period.

I have two frye's and there's not a logo that I notice anywhere.

To the OP- look at the Vintage 8R's- just the harness. Wearing fryes "dressy takes some work but can be quite bold done right.

I just bought the Frye Owen lace ups from Zappos. After breaking in, they are very comfortable and they look great too.
