Costco has a 5 pound bag of organic carrots for under $5 Crazy good deal but I never bought them because....what the hell am I going to do with 5 pounds of carrots, well I discovered a recipe for glazed carrots. Features olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, italian parsley. Came out so good I made it two days in a row. This will make a fabulous Thanksgiving side dish.

You can make a great carrot soup if you have a ton of carrots by juicing half, sautéing the other half in butter with some sliced ginger and a little honey, then adding the juice in multiple reductions to cook the carrots until completely soft, then blend.

Similar, the past few Mos I've enjoyed simple roasted carrots with toasted Walnuts and gremolata.

I tried honey glazed carrots with thyme and the honey completely ruined my baking pan. :(

Thanks. I do intermittent fasting so I normally don't eat until after 12 noon but after looking at these posts my stomach started growling.

German food last night. I could only eat like half of it before giving up. Back in my younger days, this wouldn’t be a problem.

Yes, I stop eating by 7 PM until 12 next day. Some times longer. Dropped 30 pounds in about 4 months but now I hit a plateau and been the same weight for months.
I do 8pm to midday six days a week. I found the plateauing to be an issue as well even with increasing my exercise load while greatly decreasing my alcohol consumption. Annoying.

Found it a bit of struggle this past winter but summer is here in the antipodes so more salads and raw foods.

I also cut back on the alcohol, used to have wine every night, now it's occasional. Still have my daily martini though....
I should try to increase my exercise load also. Maybe try to do a 24 hour fast a couple of times a month.
