No. Basic knowledge of them tells you that dumbass.
BevMo and Whole foods carry them-at least in San Francisco.
Westvleteren doesn't distribute, so I kind of doubt that. Your best bet is to be in Belgium or the Netherlands, otherwise you're going to have to pay the $30-40 a bottle you've seen.
I've gotten it from there. Check Bevmo's website and call Whole Foods.
Are you thinking of Westmalle?
In San Francisco it does-Going there this week and it retails for $7.49. Will pick one up and show you the receipt.
You could also trade for them. If your area has any good craft beers available or if you already have them, you can try and find somebody that has Westvleteran beers and see if they're interested. If you do this though you'll probably need a few good craft beers that can be hard to get to intrigue the trader, like KBS or PtY for example.
NYC isn't exactly known for its microbrew scene and the popular ones are easily found. Sigh... guess I have no choice but to fork over the money -_-;
7 bucks! Now thats a ******* bargain! I'm eagerly awaiting this receipt. is that for a six pack or a bottle? Because a 6er sells for $180.00 on ebay
