Hi,

I'm wearing a top hat, morning coat (black), striped grey trousers with braces, a light blue shirt with white collar and cuffs, and ... a dove grey double breasted waistcoat.

I'm hoping for some thoughts on

Waistcoat

I'm having made a dove grey double breasted waistcoat. I can have a shawl or a peaked lapel. The tailor prefers peaked lapels, but has said i can have what I want.

This is a suit that I intend to last, and I was wondering what might be best to go for with that in mind? There is also the point that with the jacket on, you cannot see the the top third of the lapels.

Here are some examples

Winchester / Tunic Shirt

I am after a very light blue shirt, with white collars and cuffs. Ideally a detachable collar, but i'll settle for attached if i must.

The only place I could find one is Thomas Pink. All other blue Winchester or Tunic shirts are bengal stripe blue, which I don't think would look right.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks very much
