That's some sound advice, thanks. I love the shirt, it matches up well. As for the tie, I always buy striped ties for events, and this one suits me well; plus isn't too large in the blade, which I like.

I tried the whole thing on today, and to my eyes it looks pretty damn good. Bridesmaids beware. I don't get to wear a suit except at weddings, so its an absolute joy to see myself in it, though that may sound odd.

Oh there was one other thing. I tried different folding patterns for a pocket square today, and was thinking of using the Three-Stairs pattern. Yay/Nay? Again, I think it looks great.

I guess you could call that "midnight brown."

Blue shirt (Double cuffed, linked) (But not the red tie in the photo);
Black shoes;
Black belt;
White pocket square;

I'm not sure about the tie though Maybe this. But I have time to go and get something else if not approved.

Opinions on the tie, please?

EDIT: Nice lady from TM Lewin showed me a tie that was Brown, Blue and White striped. It would have been perfect, but it was very expensive.
That shirt looks nice. To use a white square I suggest some white in the tie. I'm not a fan of the tie you showed, but the expensive one sounds good. If your tie had black, would it clash with the suit color? If not, you might look at some classic wedding ties. Do a search on this forum and you should find several examples to give you an idea of traditional wedding ties. I think they would look great with your outfit. If black is a problem, stick to ties that only use it for an accent.

What's with the white shirt hate? I almost always wear blue, but white seems right for a wedding.
