If purchasing a used model ... I typically buy at auction via Sotheby's, Christie's, Antiquorum, etc.

For example ... recently I was looking for a Jaeger LeCoultre Gentilhomme ... a model that is not part of the current production. I was able to find one at auction for about 55% of what I'd have paid had I gone to a dealer selling pre-owned watches.
