Kith has shoes, sometimes they display their clothes but they swap out what they have in the store frequently. Right now they have FBTs, FKTs, brigs, maybe christos. Last time I went they only had the new Douglas in blue (nice piece tho)Pretty sure Kith is the only stockist in NYC. DSMNY and Bergdorf stopped stocking Visvim several years ago and 180 is no longer involved with the brand (I think they were their show room partner?)

Bergdorf and DSM dropped vis a while ago.
The new concepts is terrible. They had one $6000 goat leather 101 and a black Thorson at one point, but nothing the last time I went.
Nordstrom doesn’t have much in store, only online.
Basically, don’t bother.

Idol was great. At one point you could find Vis at Barneys, Bergdorf, FiveStory, Gentry, Carson Street Clothiers, Idol, Totokaelo - all of them gone except Bergdorf. Makes me sad honestly. There was a shop called Idol in Brooklyn that carried Vis. It unfortunately closed last year.
Kith is really the only store now.RIP Barneys.
That list is depressing. Most of these closed before Covid. if you don't own the brick/mortar, are a brand owned store, pivoted to a web based store front like Matches.com, and/or carry an in-house line its not worth the risk to run an independent store in major US cities. I have said this before elsewhere on this message board. If this trend continues, it will be time to get a new hobby. That list is depressing. There only so many chain stores (that are diminishing also) that can carry the cost and I wonder what building owners are planning to do tenant wise longer term.
Yes - agree.I have said this before elsewhere on this message board. If this trend continues, it will be time to get a new hobby.
There is no joy derived from shopping on-line. I enjoyed shopping in person at each of the shops mentioned.
