Hey,

I recently found an pair of suglasses. They seem quite old and a bit corroded.
I did some research on it but i can't hardly find anything with a specific marking on it.
Its a ray ban with al standard marking on it. On the bridge there is the engraving. And in the blasses BL is etched.
Only thing im confused with it what they put on the ear tips.
Its marked with Frame W. Germany.

Can someone tell me more?

Thnx in advance,

Kinda reinforced my second thought on getting these ambermatic replica when, as an international campaign, they don't even spell the word "Photochromic" right.

I am trying to replace scratched lenses on a pair of sidestreet w2319 chrome mirrored oval ray bans. I even called ray ban themselves, but they were no help whatsoever. It appears anything made by B&L is of no importance to them now. If you know how I might find these lenses I would appreciate your input.

Hi everyone!

I bought some ray bans at a boot fair in the U.K. and I think they are very old.

They are tortoise shell in the way farer style. On one arm it says " B&L Ray-Ban USA" but it does not say anything on the other side like I have seen in the wayfarer II models.

There is "ray ban" in white lettering on the lense on the glasses but other than that there are no other markings.
Here are some images:

Do you know what model they are and what year they were made? Thank you so much for your help!

Best wishes,

Lizzy

Hello!

Would you happen to know how much a pair of Ray Ban/Bausch and Lomb, Shooters L1515, Arista/Burgundy would be valued at? My brother gave these to me as a gift years ago and I have never worn them. As you can see, I even have the box they came in :) Any help you can give me would be appreciated!

Buy a donor off ebay would be your best bet

Look fake Im afraid. They are neither wayfarer or wayfarer II. The front hinge stud looks a bit too thick to be genuine. The actual hinge design was never used by Ray-Ban. The inner temple brace doesnt go right to the end. The stamp looks wrong too. The majority of Ray-Bans have the model name on one of the temples, but it could of rubbed off. However, this is probably wishful thinking as the other side you can see very clearly.
Sorry to say but doesnt look good. Hope you got it cheap.

nice pair, however the box doesnt match the model as the leather isnt burgundy and the lenses arent Rose. So thats a pity.
also the buy it now prices on ebay are no indication, I have seen generals with buy it now prices for more than 2000$ even.
So, yeah the are valuable...but i wouldnt pay 600$ in no 600 years

I just recently bought these. I have three days after
I recieve them in the mail to return them based on authenticity. Do you have any advice on where to go to figure out if they're actual raybans or fakes? Or do you know?

I have held onto these raybans that I purchased a flea market for $1 hoping to get them repaired but I do not know where to send them. Can you recommend a reputable site that can fix them?
They are the same ones on the previous post. Any help would be appreciated.
i suspect you best hunt for replacement temples or either a donor pair. That would be probably the cheapest solution.
also you dont state where youre located so giving you advise where to send them will be though. I suspect youre in the USA as you dont see a reason to specify where you are...

well, you know. Theyre luxottica and not Buasch and Lomb so in no case vintage, in otherwords youre on the wrong forum my friend.

maybe youre lucky and someone knows something about luxottica. You tried your friend google?
Furthermore your pictures are very generic, very hard to tell something based on those as non of the characteristics are revealed on your pictures
