Trying to identify this pair of vintage Ray bans, and see if it is possible to find replacement lense.

Hello guys! I found these aviators, maybe of my Grandpa, they were bent at the bridge (they didn't fit without forcing in the case!), so with some pliers and care I've tried to re-shape the bridge (some little marks under the bridge unfortunately), what do you think? I did a good job?

I cannot date them correctly, as under the bridge there isn't any text at all! So no size specification anywhere on the glasses.
Are they original?

I've also got another recent pair of AVIATOR L, but some details are strange, like the RB etching, no "Made in" or "CE" trademarks on the left bar (maybe it is discoloured), flipped "RB" on left nose pad, Strange markings under the bridge.. what do you think?

I'm curious to know! Thanks in advance for your expertise

Hi,

I am a current IMC student at Emerson College in Integrated Marketing Communications. At this time I am conducting a brand audit with group members regarding the Ray-Ban brand. The objective of this project is to understand, analyse, and evaluate the brand in the eyewear market. If you have any free time please take this questionnaire (see the link below) it would be great to hear your views. Thank you.

I am a self proclaimed expert on Bausch and Lomb aka Vintage Ray Bans. I have a degree in Vintage Ray Ban Eyewear, if you need help or have a question this is the place to get answers. I also buy them if you have a pair or more you want to sell. Cheers.

I just found a pair of vintage B@L Ray Bans on the road today, and am super stoked because I recently broke my old Ray Bans I had for like 4 years. Only bummer thing is that the arms/temples are in pretty rough shape. Would love to get some replacement ones but am having a hard time finding real ones, and not sure if the newer models will fit these ones. Would love some help! Thanks.

Can someone help me ID these Ray Bans. Purchased these in 1998-1999. They have the bridge and "teacup" lenses similar to the 2975 Streetside, but have the small hinges and thin wire arms of the RB3548. "RB" is etched on the left lens near the hinge

Hello Forums

I recently inherited these ray bans from my father. Bought in Santa-Monica, CA in December 1980. I can't find any model number or anything on them. They only they "B&L Ray-Ban USA". I am suspecting they might be fakes, but they are of such sturdy quality so I'm also doubting it. If anybody have any idea that'd be great.

Hi I have several pairs of Ray Bans, but want to know a couple of things about a pair I never wear. I bought them in the nineties from a local opticians they hve B&L on the lenses and the Ray Ban logo on the right lens. They have W2650 NOAS on one of the arm where they sit behind the ear. I want to know if they are a specific model and if they are worth anything, they are in great condition, no scratches on the lenses or anything
Thanks

Hello good people. I was looking for some assistance identifying these glasses. I don't seem to be able to find anything exactly matching the style or model number, e.g. most Wayfarers seem to have a lozenge on the frame where the arms meet, rather than two round pins.

The etching on the end of the left arm reads 'VPAC'. On the right the etching is 'GB', does this indicate a British made pair?

Hi wondering if these ray bans are real and if so what model they are, they have b&l on both lenses and b&l ray-ban USA etched into one arm. There is patterning on the outside of the arms and the frames.
