Yeah I received a pair in one of those boxes once. I had to go to the post office and fortunately collected 2 loose boots and several pieces of the box collected together in a plastic bin.

I had a pair mailed to me like that once too. It was the S&S Mushroom Chamois 2055s, when I was replacing my missized 8.5s with a pair of second hand 9s. Oh, what a contrast in packaging to go from S&S's kit glove care to a naked shoebox swathed in tape. I gotta give that box credit, though. It made it inside my door, barely intact, then promptly fell to pieces. It saw the job through. RIP.

In other news, SOP Natty CXL Sidezips on the 2050 last. I know this last doesn't receive a lot of love, but it really does it for me.

Anyone able to help me with Alden 403 sizing? DoubleMonk is the only Alden retailer in Australia and they don't have any in stock and wouldn't size me either.

I'm a 9.5/10 in 2030
10 in Parkhurst's 602 last.
