Putting aside that unfortunate crease, I really like the black Halkett boot. Most interested in that one. Dat crease though.

When they first announced the halkett service boot, all I wanted was a black version, but now I have too many black boots and can't justify anymore. If I didn't have a 2020 last black calf derby boot already.....

I like the idea of polished black “officer” or “Naval” boot. Have not yet tried the 2020 last yet, but it seems well suited for this style. (Plus may provide a better fit than the 2030).

I had been thinking about a similar style (or concept at least) from Alden.
