Nice didn’t know that. Seems to be worth the up charge.
Yeah I think it's pretty rare for manufacturers to allow customization of internal components. None of the makers I've asked have been willing to use brass nails instead of steel.

How do you like your Hendricks? I understand that Wesco uses celastic for their heel counters. How is the the feel and fit compared to leather counters used by Viberg and White’s?

White, wesco and Viberg.

The mp1339 last pitches the foot forward because of the heel height, so its a little strange at first. I think I'll give the flatter mp95 a go when I do a custom build. The white's arch ease is more arch support, the wesco hendrick is a bit less, but both are substantial compared to the berg. I like the boot, they were F2s off of the wesco website so I got them for a steal which helps.

Oh ok so MP1339 is the last for the high heel Hendricks like what Standard & Strange use for the Axebreaker and the MP95 is the block heel. Thanks for the clarification. I may have to look into Bakers doing a MP95 make up with a soft toe and leather heel counter.

The axebreaker is MP1339 too. If a hendrick is standard or 1 lift lower its MP1339, but if its 2 lifts lower it becomes the MP95. At least that's what I was told.

Imma be real, this would be like the only slipper I would ever consider buying from Viberg, but I still don't trust I could figure my slipper size out.

Its from WF's insta story.

IMO, what a shame to use shinki olive Latigo HH on a slipper. Freakin A.
We already had an officerboot from DR on it. I think its a bit much for a shoe, and knowing Viberg it would have been an olive bastion oxford and not an olive derby.

The time has come! Probably okay with 1/2 down from 2030. I went a full size down from 2030 and it works, but mostly thanks to the flexible storm suede.

I decided it was either going to be yesterday's Division Road bone chamois or this Miloh washed horsebutt, and I went with the latter (and hope someone buys my size of the former so I don't).

While Dainite is not my favorite sole, I've come to accept it fully. Dainite's profile looks great, I've had no issue walking miles in it (barring some restaurant floors that can turn Dainites into oil slicks), and it seems to last forever. I am still very curious about that Lactae Hevea, though -- and still very much regret not picking up the bone chamois' charcoal sibling from last year.

Ooh, I bet a slipper in that leather would look superb. That said, I know nothing of Viberg slipper sizing.
