Vegas recommendations for (mostly) food?

I am going to Vegas Nov 17 to 19. I need some food recomendations for all meals (breakfast/lunch and dinner). Also bars, clubs, and even attractions. I am staying at Paris but I can cab it or walk anywhere that's needed. I am already planning on Bouchon for lunch/brunch and Dragon Noodle (don't complain, I like it) for probably a dinner (maybe lunch).

I have been to Spago, Sensei?, Delmonico's, Atomic Museum, Light, Rum Jungle, etc. I don't mind repeats on clubs but want to try new stuff. Bars, cool lounges (read: not smokey pool halls) would be cool too.

I am not a Vegas newbie but even in a few months or year, so much has changed. No price range but I obviously don't want to do $200 dinners for two every night.

For a kind of cool bar scene, you can check out Drai's in the Barbary Coast. For some really good Thai food that's off the strip, check out Lotus of Siam which is on Sahara a few miles off the strip. It's the best Thai food I've eaten on this continent. One relatively inexpensive place that I rather like that also happens to be in your hotel is Mon Ami Gabi, which has nice steak frites and a pretty cool atmosphere.

ghulkha - Already have you covered in my original post (Bouchon) Two votes for Lotus of Siam means I'll probably check it out. Will see about Joel Robouchon and L'Atelier! Oh and great tips Drizz3317, especially the one in my hotel! Keep it coming everyone.

Pleaces I have been for dinner

Prime in the Bellagio...Best spot in Vegas in my opinion. I go there at least once on every trip

SW Steakhouse in the Wynn- close to prime for me

Nobu(hard rock) sushi, very high price and cramped

Tao(venetian)-asian and trendy

Nove Italiano(palms) wasnt too impressed

Rum Jungle(Mand Bay) brazzilian bbq if you like that

Others werent worth mentioning and some chain restaurants too

Looking to try Mix in Mandalay Bay next trip. Supposed to be good

For lunch you have to get a sandwhich at 'Whicraft (and if you want dinner at Craftsteak). I'd reccomend the grilled white cheddar, virginia ham, spicy mustard on cranberry walnut bread.

If you want to do something off the strip one night that is fun you can check out Marrakesh off of Paradise Rd(I think). It's Morrocan prix fixe with belly dancers, feels like your sitting in a caravan's tent.

Thomas Keller's brother Hubert has a great burger place in Mandalay. His restaurant Fleur de Lys is good.

Bradley Ogden is probably #2 after Bouchon (good first choice) for value.

L'atelier de Joel Robuchon is a GREAT experience and the food is at least an 8.

Simon is another great value, and a local chef which is always nice.

Also, I can't remember the name of it, but the Steakhouse in Circus Circus is a hidden gem.

For the after hours, Tryst and Pure are the obvious "in" spots these days, but the place in Barbary Coast ("drazen", I think it's called) is sometimes hoppin'.

And if you are not from the west coast, don't sleep on In and Out and Fatburger.

try the Avant Guide to Las Vegas. It is very hip and gives a great overview of dining, clubs, hotels and "other" activities. You might try their website too.

I dunno where you got this info but Hubert Keller is not Thomas Keller's brother.

For a high end dinner, we really enjoyed Picasso at the Bellagio. For a bit more moderately priced night, try Tao at the Venetian.

Drai's is a cool scene.

I have always wanted to try Lotus of Siam and have not been able to make it yet. It's reputation lives up to your praise.

My favorite food on the cheap is Battista's Hole in the Wall, a few yards from Barbary Coast. Old school vegas, red checked table cloth Italian food with a roaming four foot tall senior citizen accordion player, at least three bachelorette parties, and all you drink table wine. Honestly, the food is not all that great (surprise), but it doesn't suck and I always have fun there.
