1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    I'm obsessed with his hair.

The world was a mess but my hair was perfect.

No, I have no special abilities. Just the ability to understand nuance, apparently more than do you. You, idiot, just earned yourself a week off.

    Fok.

    ahahahahaha

Brogue is a strange brand of troll. He trolls not by being an outward dick but by slowly testing his targets' tolerance for denseness and idiocy.

You have a "special ability" for deciding what is racist? Which "joke" as you call it, is racist?
Someone writes that the negro people in his area of the country raise pit bulls. I would not have understood that except that I saw Whoopie explain it on The View. That is "racist?" She must be a "racist" too.

Someone else writes that when he was a kid, he knew that the black kids riding bikes in his neighborhood were there to steal bikes. That is not "racist." How could it be?

Then, from the most protected racist,
    [IMG],
    we get this:
Q: What do black kids get for Christmas?
    A: Your bike.

You must be laughing your butt off over that one. Tickle, Tickle, Tickle.
Of course, neither you or the poster are slightly racist You just know that that is what the negro children do. Just look at the facts? Who could complain about racism?
Hell, who doesn't like a good bicycle joke. Dog jokes? Not so good if maybe you are a cat lover?

I truely admire your ability for discernment. Everyone benefits from you advice on getting counseling.

When will people have to acknowledge that 2 + 2 = 6? What is the forecast?

wtf is this? waving a red flag in front of a bull?

Yeah, I always thought it would take a lot of work to be a really good troll. The best ones lay a foundation, so it's unclear whether they're really trolling. Then, when it's all over, it seems so obvious, like the deal with Liberace.

The problem I have with the vociferous Charley, Brogue and co is that I'm pretty sure they're alternate identities (of alternate identities). I do my cunting on my own time.

Brogue's puppet master came out of hiding in the FFFFffffffuuuuu thread in DT. Unless, that was just an uncomfortable typed expression of acute empathy.

Weak shit Nancy. Or bad reading comprehension.

    Or both.

    Or just plain stupidity.

I like how he took a little light hearted humour and shut it right down by bringing the Hoss Hate. I have to acknowledge a talent when I see it. Or maybe he just actually doesn't know Mc's spell it with an "e" and thus his confusion?

Nah, it was Hoss Hate. My personal troll has reported for doodie again. [IMG]

Whatever. Brogue is not long for the forum. It's troll hunting time. Watch him disappear before your eyes.

Edit: Now officially gone. Really it's a shame that someone who seems to be fairly intelligent and well educated feels the need to waste their own time wasting other people's time. Of course, I'm reasonably sure that he'll be back. Trolls get addicted to trolling, and really can't help themselves.

    That's OK - he's got a natural home on the Devil's Island

Did you ever run that IP check? I'm truly curious...
