I picked up a brautiful camel-colored herringbone topcoat from Ian D. during his NY trunk show - unfortunately I don't have the technical savvy to take (let alone post ) a picture, and it's too warm this week to wear it!

I'll pick it up and take it home to photograph it for you. I promise to bring it back by April or so.

The overcoat world is kitonbrioni's. We all just live in it.

Now, who can find me a "decent" heather gray, single breasted topcoat (I want something that hits around mid-thigh), cut on the slim side? Basically, something like that Hugh Jackman Men's Vogue cover...

I see a J. Crew cashmere blend that looks to be in the ballpark but would prefer a lighter gray.

Trading Places, eh? That fur on Aykroyd's collar is a bit much. Magnoli sells a similar, shawl lapelled coat that's a replica of one of Peter Cushing's. But if money were no object, I'd get this gorgeously simple top coat.

Should I take the Burberry comment as an insult?

But really, the pattern is much more tweedier than anything Burberry could have, maybe except the Prorsum collections.
