- fit is most important
- bespoke shirts are far better than non-bespoke
- fashion labels sell their name and less quality. Kenneth Cole is the extreme of them, but most of them are not a good deal.
- discovered my favorite store: Paul Stuart
- most women think they have style, when they don't. They just buy expensive fashion labels.
- James Bond is still the man.
- there are different quality levels of cashmere
- there are different quality levels of Armani
- many, many minor, but important things

Bad clothes with a good fit can be better than good clothes with a bad fit.

Plan your wardrobe so you have the time to find the right deal.

Kiton is pronounced key-tone.

If in doubt see if HRH favours the brand. If still in doubt see if 007 favours the brand. If HRH and 007 agree just buy it.

Made in England is prefered as there must be a factory shop somewhere!

I'n new to the site, but i have learned

1.-to use brown shoes, with blue or gray suits.
2.- the beauty of all the ranges of color of brown shoes.
3.- to use a pocket square.
4.- how to correctly shine my own shoes.
5.- the correct fit of a blazer.
6.- the diferent quality of wools.
7.- bespoke shirts and suits.

it's a great site, and hope to keep with the contribution.

I've been more or less lurking for a few months and feel I've learned a lot (especially regarding black suits and pocket squares), but one thing has been mentioned in this thread three times now:

"Brown is for farmer"

Please excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is that referring to?

"- If you have lots of money, the best way to let everyone know is to commission a bespoke suit...From Kiton."

If you don't have lots of money, the best way to keep it a secret is to commission a bespoke suit from Kiton
