Those might be passable, but I would suggest going for an all leather loafer and not suede.

Trustme, the tongue stretches a tiny bit, your foot goes in, and they stay in.

But you're right, they're more for spring/summer.

For the winter time, if your weather isn't very harsh etc... maybe try a pair of Clark's Desert Boots in a dark color and in leather or beeswax. There's a separate thread for them HERE. There are plenty of other boot/shoe options.

Whatever you do, don't go for the 'in-between hybrid dress/casual' shoe because they suck. Trust us and open up your mind to new ideas about what looks good and what doesn't, but I guess in the end it's your decision.

The color of the shoes would depend on the color and wash of the jeans. If I had to buy 1 color I would buy the black ones.
