One of my favorites. Throw a half dozen in a blender with milk.

Level 5 flood warning in Kumamoto. most rain in a day for 50 years, swathes of land flooded. 13 people reported missing. more rain to come.
this comes just 2 years after a massive earthquake that leveled the place.
Amid the Covid pandemic, a natural disaster is that much more weight on the community. The rain is spreading to other areas. this is really bad.

I posted in the running thread that im watching the replay of last year's big 4th of july race in Atlanta which i usually run. And I'm legitimately sad thinking about how badly we've fucked up covid and there's just no benefit. The rest of the developed world is able to live a semi normal life now but here we ******* are.

Maybe I'm just thinking that now we all have a wasted year of our lives. Whatever it is I'm starting the holiday pretty heartbroken.

Im sorry my man how old is s/he?

He is 10. We started noticing it over the last year or so that he would have a hard time locating you if you called him from another room or his ability to sleep through anything like someone coming home (he used to start getting excited when he'd hear the detached garage door open in our last house).

But yesterday I was directly behind him and asked if he wanted a treat several times almost yelling at times with no response when he would normally almost start bouncing with excitement.

It seems he can still hear things like snaps or clapping, but normal voice range seems to be almost completely gone. I feel bad for the guy because it must be very confusing to him.

I had a dog that went blind. She did quite well for a number of years. She loved to eat so we figured she wasn't suffering. We had to be careful with gates though. If she didn't encounter a familiar obstacle she would just keeping walking.
