I did get the implication at first that all 4000 were his descendants, but now I think it’s just the 39 wives, 94 children etc that are his family.

Yeah, I was going for hyperbole.

I went to high school with a kid who was part of some cult that was basically just his extended family. It was quite odd.

I've been involved with multiple cults. Both as a follower and a leader. You have a lot more fun as a follower. But the money is a lot better as a leader.

The old troughs at dodger stadium were always fun. A good 20 people wide.
I have similar memories when I had Kings season seats at the old Fabulous Forum.
The stairs down to the bathroom went straight down, and you couldn't see the bottom because of all the cigarette smoke.
You just descended into stinky, smoky hell...

Thursday: I get my dishwasher replaced. It's awesome. Silent, quick, and gets the job done.

On Friday the AC broke. I know it isn't related but it is weird. Wasn't too hot on Friday, at the office on Saturday and booked a repairman for Sunday. AC guy comes out and says there is an issue with the breaker. That mostly gibes with the Nest error code.

Electrician comes out, there was a blown fuse, and it is replaced. BUT the Nest says there is no connection to the thermostat.

So I call the original AC guy an they will be here between 7 and midnight.

I also have to spray bugspray because I have had the windows open all day.
