thanks, i was actually pretty close with him. he was a good kid, we had a lot of fun working together, got along very well. i tried to be a bit of a mentor. i even kept up with him after i left the job. it really blows. im still kinda in shock about it.

It's 90 right now, severe thunderstorms/tornado watch. And I have to take a 20 minute drive to get my dry cleaning. :fu: :fu: :fu:

How do you even pick a dry cleaner? I am moving back to Orlando so if you can just recommend on there if anyone knows a good one.

i got a call from a friend of mine who still works for my previous employers. an employee i had while managing the last store i was at before leaving was murdered over the weekend.
details are sketchy so far, all i know is that his dead body was found burt to a crisp in the company truck. (not sure how they know it was a murder at this point)
really bums me out. he was a good kid, 20 years old. not into drugs, no gang banging, not a trouble maker. just a good kid, working for a living. ****. it really sucks.
:(
This is awful.

Busy day back at work made worse by preparing for back-to-back trips. Someone was parked in my space this morning, so I had to call to have the car towed.

Rained very hard today, and of course, campus flooded and a building caught on fire...yet my school did not cancel class until 11 AM at 10 AM, and waited until 10.45 AM to cancel 11 AM classes. ******* ridiculous...I had an 8.30 AM class, I don't know if anyone showed, prof. isn't answering emails, but technically it was retroactively canceled. I left home at 7.45 and did not get to campus until 10 AM, every road onto campus was flooded, many were barricaded, and at this point class still wasn't canceled! I don't feel like my university cares about commuters...

My spot is reserved 24/7 and costs me a lot each year. The signs are very clear that if you don't belong there, your car is getting towed.

we are sorely in need of a :badass: emoticon right now. :)
