@Newcomer Honestly, some the looks you've been posting have been an inspiration; they strike the kind of balance I'm exploring.

@GeorgeC I am a father, but I can say with with absolute certainty that dadcore is NOT what I'm going for. Point taken about the jeans!

These are some other things from the last couple of months that kind of represent my progress so far. I appreciate any suggestions. Then I'll think things over and see what comes next.

Edit to add: I don't plan on flooding this thread with fit pics. Just wanted to give some additional examples. I'm here more for the inspiration!

Bottom half in pic 4 is pretty good. Would go w the jacket in pic2.

Buy dope knits and outerwear. Skip the plaid and go for a textured flannel or some sort.

Awesome advice! Other than that? And the sweater is not intentionally tucked in. How would you classify this look?

In the second to last picture, I feel like the jacket is too loud. I think a more muted, rustic orange and less vibrant color would be more suitable. I love your use of complementaries tho. Shoes pair very nicely!
