Third, I get what you're saying, and here's how I process the dissonance: Like the Persian rug that needs an "imperfect" stitch, I would never wear the Visvims if they were truly traditional moccasins. Especially not with this outfit. Then it's just costume, and this look already risks wandering too closely to that. One of the things that took me a long time to grasp/adopt in design (magazine covers especially), is that things often look better when they're a wee bit wrong. Extremely ragged type. The garish color that somehow works. Or, back to clothes, Kanye wearing weird-ass Visvim FBTs. But, yeah. I hear you.
