Getting a little closer. Drop the tie and the jacket unbutton the top button or two and its not too shabby.
That tie is not going to work for you at this point. Just put it away. I would also recommend wearing looser (but not loose) jeans in general. Although the group think is size down, down, down, on jeans very few of the good posters adhere to this slavishly.

Nothing wrong with throwing up a bunch of ****, plenty of other posters have done so before you. It seems like you're really trying to find an "identity" fashion wise. While a few of the regulars will say otherwise, this is the place to do just that. Just make sure you take advice (with a a grain of salt) when it is offered.

Thanks for the criticisms. On further reflection all those pictures have me "trying too hard". At this point I need to build up my basics and then later, experiment.
