The Uniqlo ULTRA warm heattech just dropped here in Japan.
Is it out in the US yet?

http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/store/goods/174777

so far it is limited to just tights and long sleeve "under" shirts.

Unlike the normal heattech and extra warm heattech which come in transparent zip lock bag style packaging..
the packaging for the ultrawarm is in a somewhat large red box.

As for the feel.

The normal heattech is thin enough to be used as an innershirt. its slightly thicker than airism shirts.

the Extrawarm heattech feels similar to the normal one, but the inside has a thin fuzzy lining that gives it additional warmth. supposedly gives 1.5x more warmth than the normal heattech

The Ultrawarm heattech feels like a separate piece of clothes, rather than an inner shirt. its claimed to be 4x warmer. To me it felt as thick as their soft touch long sleeve tshirts made out of a material that falls somewhere between something you'd find on a jersey and cotton. I don't know how this could be considered something to wear under your shirt because its thick enough to be a mid layer or outer layer.

Thanks for your detailed input because I really hate the Uniqlo soft touch material/shirts. I can't imagine wearing a bulky tights like that under some jeans or joggers. I'll stick with the extra warm for now which aren't that thick or thin.

The new collection looks interesting. Definitely a lot of stuff that I'll be trying out. Hopefully the new season's oxfords will be better, not a huge fan of the material used for the last iteration.

On a sidenote, cheers to all the SF guys that put their Uniqlo U orders together the past 2-3 weeks. My pleasure in getting the coveted stuff out to u guys!

Guys, I was at Uniqlo Denver Downtown Pavillion Mall and saw this lovely shoes from the mannequin. I asked the staff but they don't know the make and label of these shoes. Do you happen to know it? It is so lovely that I have been trying to find out where can I see or buy them!

Dry fit $5 shirts are pretty OK. Went to cube and brought a white Navy and grey one as my only Ts. Stayed pretty cool while walking around a ton.

I noticed in a product shot (this one, in Off White) that the label reads "Made in Japan". It makes sense that the corporation would have multiple factories serving the regions where their respective markets lie. Is Japan/Asia the only place to score these pieces or are there pieces from these factories made available to the US market?

Dammit, man. Is it me, or are the flannels trimmer in the waist this year? I got a bunch, thinking they were the one thing I could rely on :(

Bev center is way better than any of the other uniqlos don't even waste your time.

That being said I was going to pick up a gray ma1 as well but the fabric looked cheap as ****. Picked up some plain tees tho.
