So I've realized that these are actually a little bit long for me (I usually take a 10 UK/11D US in most stuff). I got these in a 44 F-last and the length dwarfs my size 10UK Carmina shells. Width-wise they're pretty ok though. I'm planning on reordering the same asskicking bal design in whiskey shell instead and on a P2 last for a more substantial look/higher instep, but plan on sizing down to a 43.5 - any shell goyser experts care to chime in? I hear this should be alright but I'm paranoid, so I just wanna make sure.

I have 43.5 in shell P2. If you have a wider forefoot, beware of the downsize....

I'm the same size as exdeth but with a wide-ish forefoot, and I go for a 44 on most lasts (except a couple).
Also, carminas in the same size look much smaller due to the trimmer welt and the way carmina designs hide width way better than vass. but everyone's feet are unique so ....

After wearing these all day I have decided "no more U last" Visually a little too pointy for my taste and definitely toe cramping (and I have a normal foot) Good thing I don't have to walk much for my job. Otherwise good looking boot.

No streching on those??. They look to me too narrow in the ball, low and high instep.

For what it's worth, I also use a high and low instep.

"D" is what we call the "short heel."

"C" is the "high instep" although not taken at quite such an angle and running over the "root of the fifth."

The "low instep"...not shown on the diagram, by my definition...would be running over the middle cuneiform and one "section" (Sabbage) forward of the high instep..

The waist...roughly the same as B...just behind the medial and lateral joint.--"A" on the diagram.

Not many shoemakers use either the short heel or the high instep...or perhaps I should say they don't use two instep girths. Nor do they use a long heel measurement, although I find them all very useful--more data equals a better fit, IMO.

I suspect these are measurements more appropriate for pull on boots...I'm guessing Bestetti recognizes them, as well

edited for punctuation and clarity

Hi DW, the PDF sheet for foot mesurements in your webpage it helped me very much (I was thinking to place you an order, lol). I was not sure how to mesure the ball until I read it. Many tutorials are completly wrong about the issue. Thanks for clarifications.
