Just got this in the mail from Paul Stuart (Phineas Cole which is their slim/modern line.) I love how the fit and fabric feels but I'm worried it looks a too tight in the pants? This is for my wedding in May. Any opinions are appreciated.

It was on sale for about 60% off, and it feels like a huge upgrade from the Suitsupply stuff I was considering. I've thought about going to another Paul Stuart model with a more traditional fit, or doing their MTM program but it's a lot more money. At sale price it's only a few hundred more than Suitsupply but at full-price the Paul Stuart stuff is 2-3x more expensive which gives me pause.

Those pants are going to be hard to fix imo. It’s not that they’re too tight, they just aren’t currently cut right for you.

It lives on without socks, apparently
Hey, cut him some slack. Obviously just out of the pool-- do you think he should really be wearing socks with Crocs?

Is no socks really that bad? I wouldn’t do it myself, but I wouldn’t care too much if I saw someone.
It takes the formal out of formal wear for me. Seems hard to dance without socks as well.

Maybe no socks in the tropics with a white jacket..? Nah, I'd wear them even then.

Dancing without shoes is a thing? I'd just get stepped on, get upset, and return to the bar where I fit in better than on the dance floor.

I think it's fair to say the man's proximity to a rather bulbous orange sphere is what's prompting much of the derision here lol. This look wouldn't be in the top 50 of terrible tuxes at any black tie gathering. 20+ comments on how terrible the look is is just comical.

Not one iota. I have no idea who he is or what his politics are, and I don’t care. But those shoes with a full black tie rig and no socks is a hell to the no. Looks absolutely asinine.

Somebody doesn't see nearly enough modern black tie then lol. He looks far better than most black tie examples we see nowadays, legitimate critiques (to be sure, they are legitimate critiques) notwithstanding. I'll take sockless opera pumps over combat boots and/or bulky derbies a thousand times over.
