Were there ever any photos of the Skoak / EB #4 captoe boot which fell through and was made in mahogany shell instead? I dropped out when I heard it wasn't going to be #4, but I don't recall seeing any photos of the boots, either in the Skoak or EB threads. How did they turn out?

They are actually extremely nice.

I did not get the cap toe derby boot, but I did get a oxford boot in mahogany cordovan.

The shade is a rich mix of reds and brown. Perhaps the most translucent shade I have ever handled. Some days it looks like dark ravello, other days color 4.

The shade is so amazing that I have often contemplated having another shoe/boot made in said shade.
