Seeing those makes me wonder why I ever wear any of my other shoes.

Very nice saddles. Rarely see florsheim in 8 that look this good.

Very nice combo. Strand is my favorite design and yours look great (seem closer to.burgendy/8 than brown). Killer slacks as well.

Yeah my pair is quite light compared to most peoples. I think the lighting was a bit cool looking this morning, they do have a great brown tone to them.

I like these more every time you post. These shoes successfully pull off the dichotomy between formal/dress and casual with the eyelets as well as any shoes I've seen. If by chance they're a 9D and you ever decide to move them, I'd be quite pleased to take them off your hands. Well played.

First time I've seen these posted. There was a pair listed in B&S that I came very close to buying. Seeing yours makes me wish I had. Very nice and unique shoe/boot. Congrats.

Vass Sarek boot again. Not the best chinos to pair with them, but I was in a rush...

I am of the opinion that the Tricker's thread would be lucky to be flooded with these.

    Ask away

I got these for cheaper than AE and Alden 1st quality.

They were used for a photo shoot. But Brand New.

    Thanks.

Are these available any where or will it have to be a GMTO?

That's a serious blessing right there. What a killer addition. I would love a brown or color 8 plain toe that isn't the 990. Congrats on the pickup

Carmina makes a nice one. It ain't EG, but it'll do in a pinch:

Also, here's a Vass plain toe derby (not blucher) from the very first page of this thread. Lovely! (Not mine)

Thanks Gentlemen for your kind words.

    @peppercorn78

That Carmina is a classic as well.

I owned one back in the day but sold it because the fit was not exactly what I needed.

Here is some pics of my old pair:

@Watchman1 I love the welt treatment on your EGs. Is the welt pinked? That's what it looks like. So many amazing details there, my friend.
