Cant go wrong with white Burgundy. And same for Champagne, very nice.
How is the 164 doing? I am bot sure I ever had one.
Any opinions on 170? I’ve heard it’s middling/average (for a Krug)The 164eme is in great shape now - acid is coming into balance with the rest of the wine. I think for me it's been the perfect grand cuvee.
As you alluded too, it’s still Krug. I wouldn’t call it middling at all, it’s a very good edition. I like the 170eme just fine and would be happy to drink it any day as it seems to be drinking well young (whereas the 164eme needed time).Any opinions on 170? Could stand to age another decade or three, but it’s just entering the zone and the year is the right year. Arguably the first major anniversary where opening it isn’t a crime.
Its a "typical" Krug and I like it very much, it was basically ready to drink when it released.Any opinions on 170? I’ve heard it’s middling/average (for a Krug)
Near vinfanticide
